Forget haunted houses and creepy crawlies – the thing that keeps Gigi Hadid up at night is actually a skin treatment that us beauty junkies relish.
The transformative power of a skilled aesthetician working their magic on your complexion knows no bounds, but the supermodel recently revealed that she is personally not a facial fan in an interview with WSJ. Magazine.
The Guest In Residence founder opened up about her super "simple" beauty approach, admitting that she is "not much of a skincare guru".
This is the area in which her fellow supermodel and pal Hailey Bieber excels (whose skincare line Rhode is all about the dewy, juicy glow), though Gigi herself is not a product aficionado.
"I’m terrified of facials," the 27-year-old revealed, which honestly left us rather surprised.

The job requirements of a supermodel – constant travelling and frequent makeup application/removal – can take its toll on the skin, and so one could be forgiven for thinking that a quality facial would come as a welcome treat.
Alas, that is not the case. Gigi tends to avoid the beauty treatment and divulged that she has only had one facial in her entire life – before last year's Met Gala. "I went to someone who works on my sister and one of my best friends, and I really trust them," Gigi explained. "But I just like to keep it simple."

We strongly suspect that the celebrity aesthetician in question is Mimi Luzon, whose list of clientele spans from Kaia Gerber and Irina Shayk to Naomi Campbell. Famed for her gilded leaf foil mask, 24 Carat Pure Gold Treatment, Mimi is among the gold-standard (get it?) of facial experts.
But that's not to say that Gigi is against the hands-on approach. When she can spare the time, she makes an effort to go to the chiropractor to "get recalibrated" and even shared that her current New Year's resolution is to treat herself to a massage more often.
It may be the last day of the month, but we reckon we’ll borrow that idea from Gigi and take it into February…
