Queen Rania of Jordan and her husband King Abdullah are currently on a working visit to the USA and naturally, she took exemplary wardrobe choices on her trip, proving her well-deserved recognition as one of the world’s most stylish royals.

On the second day of her visit she took style cues from Princess Kate, wearing a flattering midi that proves royal blue is the hue you need to add to your wardrobe for spring.

Yesterday the Queen wore a royal blue wrap midi dress from Elie Saab. The dress from the Fall ‘22 show has a ruching effect across both the body and the skirt, creating a super flattering silhouette. It also contains a draped piece of material over the thigh-high split to keep the design demure.

She paired with Gianvito Rossi suede pumps (a favourite footwear of the Duchess of Wales) in a tonal ‘electric blue’ shade and a grey Dolce and Gabbana Sicily bag.

Princess Kate also wore a flattering midi dress in the exact same royal blue yesterday for a new promotional video for her campaign ‘Shaping Us’. Kate referred back to her elegant dress wardrobe and recycled a Jenny Packham dress from a 2019 trip to Northern Ireland with Prince William.

Both of their dresses possessed waist-cinching detailing to form a shapely silhouette – Rania’s with ruched detailing and Kate’s with a thin waist belt. Whichever style you prefer, royal blue is the way to go.

As expected by the stylish royal, this isn’t the first time she’s sported the Lebanese designer's brand. In September 2002 she sported one of her best ever sartorial moments in a pink embellished evening gown with diamond dangle earrings and a gold Fendi Baguette.
