Alexa wore a demure coat over her sheer dress

The fashion icon who is of Chinese descent on her father’s side, flew the flag for Asian designers opting to wear a dress from eponymous designer Huishan Zhang. Alexa broke with royal protocol, opting for a sheer translucent dress, which she showed off on Instagram with the caption, “Naked dressing for Bucky P.” Although she did cover up with a sophisticated dark coat upon shaking hands with our current reigning monarch.

The London based luxury brand was launched in 2012. The Chinese-born, London-based designer, has famously mapped out his signature style, finding inspiration and direction through his national identity. “Creating a luxurious brand where Eastern heritage meets Western influencers, his collections create a romantic, sophisticated and ageless philosophy with feminine details, strong lines and directional design,” the band explains on its website.

Huishan studied at Central Saint Martins College and graduated in 2010. During his studies, he was handpicked by Delphine Arnault to spend his third year working for Dior in both the leather goods division and within its illustrious Haute Couture atelier.

The reception takes place shortly after Lunar New Year, and coincides with the TV presenter reminiscing about her “indie sleaze” days. In 2007, we just called it going out.”
