The eternally-glamorous red lip has recently undergone a seriously racy makeover, thanks to trailblazing makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench.
Her eponymous beauty brand Isamaya Beauty has just launched its third collection, entitled LIPS. Here at Hello! Fashion we are instantly drawn to quality, high performing formulas, but there's no denying the appeal of luxe, thoughtfully designed, weighty packaging.
In the market for a lipstick that will double as a work of art? Look no further than Isamaya's head-turning phallus-inspired creations.
Yes – you read that right, the latest product additions are genitalia-shaped lipstick tubes, a campy, playful take on the sexual innuendo marketing tactic that beauty brands have deployed forever. Nars 'Orgasm' blush, anyone?
The striking campaign, shot by Zhong Lin, is as raunchy as one would expect – think cool chromes, steamy skin and wet-look hair galore.

Genius or gauche? Packaging is important, and Isamaya Beauty seems to have honed in on the 'package' element in the most salubrious way. The major industry disruptor offers two lip shades as part of its 'LIPS' collection, 'Cardinal', a satin-finish ultra-true red shade in a chrome case and 'Vanity', a sheer black tinted balm encased in gunmetal.
Explaining the intention behind its provocative packaging, the brand writes: "LIPS’ shape challenges how makeup is perceived," That's certainly true, in fact we'd defo do a double take if someone whipped it out on the tube.
"It calls for human connection, and maintains our ethos of celebrating one’s self. As repression flourishes in every society, LIPS fearlessly honours the freedom of ideas and ownership, showcasing beauty in a way that only ISAMAYA can."

Want to get your hands on one of the lust worthy shafts? Waste no time, because 'Cardinal' is currently already sold out, and with Valentine's Day on the horizon, we reckon 'Vanity' will quickly follow. The only question left lingering on our lips is, "How long does it last?"
