It was a sombre day for the fashion world today as some of Dame Vivienne Westwood’s nearest and dearest gathered to pay tribute to her at Southwark Cathedral in London.
Dame Vivienne had two big requests for the celebrations of life following her passing: for the church to be covered in her beloved Harris tweed, and her official funeral service to be a small service at home in Derbyshire, with family and close friends only. According to The Herald.

The eclectic, status quo shaking nature of Dame Vivienne’s style was clear throughout guests' choices of attire. Some opted for traditional mourning wear, whilst many eschewed black clothing and donned looks that channelled Vivienne Westwood right through them.
Victoria Beckham stuck to her ever-sophisticated agenda, wearing a long sleeved lace black midi dress with a ruched waist and adorned with eyelet detailing. The dress boasted draping behind to create a flattering gothic-chic look.
She paired the dress with black court shoes, an oversized clutch and her signature oversized shades. She wore her brunette tresses loose and tousled paired with a nude lip.

Kate Moss donned a floral maxi and a beret for the occasion, whilst Helena Boneham- Carter wore Harris tweed to pay her respects, and Stormzy wore all black with Vivenna’s signature orb motif pinned to his suit jacket.
