As awards season ploughs on ahead at breakneck speed, the most anticipated night in British film and television has finally arrived. Since its inception in 1949, BAFTA has championed quality televisual and cinematic talent and welcomed some of the industry's hottest names.

The 2023 EE BAFTAs, held at the Royal Festival Hall, was designed to be the organisation's "most ambitious and accessible night yet". We reckon Florence Pugh has truly taken the legendary organisation's vision to heart, because she just rocked up in a shade that is practically steeped in daring – as if we needed another reason to love her.

The star stunned in a vivid orange gown by British designer Harris Reed
Styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray, the Don't Worry Darling star was serving 'tangerine dream' vibes in a vibrant see-through gown, courtesy of Harris Reed. The statement piece featured dramatic mesh pleats around the neckline, and a tiered fishtail skirt, compiled of layers of ruffles.

The actress went for an edgy, fan-inspired hair look
Her makeup was done by celebrity glam squad hotshot Alex Babsky who went for a "super-classic" look, and revealed that he actually "covered the ends of Florence's brows" in order to give her shorter-looking, more Audrey Hepburn-esque arches to compliment her micro bangs and fan-inspired updo, created by hairstylist Peter Lux.
Her stylish red carpet appearance comes just days after she graced the runway for Harris Reed's show at London Fashion Week. The collection, named All The World's A Stage, named after Shakespeare's famous line in As You Like It, was opened by a speech that Florence delivered to the fashion set with gusto.

"Clothing has transformative power, whether for an actor or simply a performer on the stage of life, the art of dressing up allows us to express who we truly are, creating a safe space to inhabit in a sometimes judgmental world," she said at the show which saw guests such as Jodie Turner-Smith and Lisa Rinna in attendance.
