Hollywood royalty Jessica Alba caught our eye on Sunday when she stepped out in Paris to attend Stella McCartney's AW23 show.
Obviously, the French capital never disappoints when it comes to fashion week street style, and Jessica played a part in raising the style stakes.
The 41-year-old debuted a radically different new look, deviating from her usual sleek waves and ultra-femme tastes – and we are totally here for Jessica's style renaissance.
The Dark Angel star looked characteristically chic on the front row, but with a fresh, animal-inspired edge. She wore a faux snake print maxi trench coat in a taupe and dark brown colourway, cinched in at the waist to give Jessica some shape.

The A-lister opted for a striking snake print trench coat
The statement piece was layered over a high-necked blouse, again decorated with a snakeskin pattern to provide a sense of cohesion.
Stella McCartney has never used leather, feathers, fur or skin within its collections, and while some of its pieces contain animal-derived materials (silks and wools for instance), the British label is committed to developing the most cutting-edge materials and animal alternatives" and encouraging consumers "towards circularity".

A prime example of fashion's cyclical nature, animal print has been all over the runway recently. At London Fashion Week Daniel Lee made his collection debut as Burberry's chief creative officer with fashion-forward duck prints, whereas at Christopher Kane the vibe was 'farm-fantasy' with playful pig-emblazoned pieces.

We can't help but admire their ingenuity, but Jessica's snake print trench exuded a certain classic cool.

She also strayed from her usual look via her hairstyle. Jessica eschewed her sleek waves in favour of a poker-straight, middle-parting moment which showed off her impressive waist-length glossy locks.
Topping off her look, her footwear proved that neutrals needn't be boring. Jessica styled her trench with heels constructed from two contrastingly sized meshes, evoking the look of fishnets and adding a touch of sultry glamour.
