The Oscars are finally back. The biggest event in the awards season calendar is here for the 95th Academy Awards ceremony bringing all the glitz and glamour that we expect.
Although it’s difficult to imagine a drama that could top last year’s viral Will Smith moment, the sartorial agenda on the red carpet was a masterclass of elegance, only enhanced by the Oscars’ newly adopted champagne coloured carpet that replaced red for the first time.
The Dolby Theatre in Hollywood was awash with designer gowns, extravagant jewellery and opulent beauty looks, which matched the energy of the goodie bags that guests walk away with, approximately worth a whopping $100k.

Ana de Armas
Ana de Armas looked breathtaking in a custom mermaid gown from Louis Vuitton. She made a case for elegant ruffles wearing a champagne coloured fitted dress with elegant diamante embellishments and a low cut neckline.
Cara Delevingne
Cara Delevingne was a red carpet siren in a scarlet gown by Elie Saab Couture. The pose many fans thought was reminiscent of Angelina Jolie in 2012… She paired the dramatic dress with vertiginous Stuart Weitzman heels and Bulgari jewellery.
Michelle Yeoh
Michelle Yeoh dazzled in Dior wearing an ethereal white fringed gown with a sheer high neckline and an elegant train. She paired it with a Richard Mille watch and exquisite accessories from Moussaieff jewellery: the bijouterie brand Rihanna also sported on the night.

Florence Pugh
Florence Pugh wore an OTT balloon-sleeved strapless champagne coloured gown that perfectly matched the awards' new non-red carpet. The look from Valentino's FW22 Couture collection boasted an ultra mini dress which she paired with black platforms and Tiffany & Co. jewellery.
Rihanna
Rihanna recreated the look from her iconic Superbowl performance/baby bump reveal and we are slightly obsessed. She reverted back to Alaia to create another version of her sculpted bra and sheer dress moment, only this time making it ‘red carpet chic’ in all black. She wore her hair in a messy top knot with a dark red lip.
Allison Williams
Allison Williams kept the Barbiecore trend alive in a bubblegum pink Giambattista Valli Couture gown and Fred Leighton jewellery. She may not have won an Oscar on the night but she was definitely a shoe in for the award of cutest couple on the red carpet.

Angela Bassett was a vision in violet Moschino with the most extra yet elegant take on a fishtail dress we’ve possibly ever seen. Styled by Jennifer Austin, the Black Panther actress wore the strapless gown with an extravagant sculpted neckline paired with equally as show stopping Bulgari jewellery.
Fan Bingbing
Actress Fan Bingbing, was Old Hollywood glamour personified in her extravagant Tony Ward couture gown. The dress was easily one of the most head turning looks on the red (or in the case of this year’s Oscars champagne-coloured) carpet. The crystal dress brought the drama with its oversized emerald green taffeta sleeves.
Tems
Temilade Oyeniyi, more commonly known by her stage name Tems, was not afraid to pull out all the stops for the 2023 Oscars and we’re here for it. The Grammy award winner donned a sculptural white gown, complete with a neckline which didn’t quit, arching over her nape and head for an incredibly avant-garde yett romantic look.
