The Oscars, as always, did not disappoint with its high calibre of red carpet looks that we’ll be swooning over for weeks after. From Rihanna recreating her iconic Super Bowl halftime show look, to A-listers who chose to adopt the awards night trend we never expected: the bare leg a la 2012 Angelina Jolie, there was as much excitement off stage as there was on.

How could an evening of such exquisite fashion possibly be topped? Cue the official Vanity Fair afterparty. Where fashion’s creme de la creme gathered at the Wallis Annenberg Centre in Beverly Hills and everything, everywhere, was happening. All at once…

Hello! Fashion's 10 best Oscars 2023 afterparty looks:

Naomi Campbell

Naomi gave major goddess vibes in a chainmail dress from Schiaparelli’s FW23 couture collection. She also wore the shoes from the complete look, boasting Schiaparelli signature sculpted toes. A gold and silver choker cupped her neck and beaded black bracelets on her wrist.

Simone Ashley

Nobody was feeling blue when Simone Ashley was in sight. The Bridgerton star stunned in a one shoulder sequin dress from Harris Reed for Nina Ricci. He aqua blue gown boasted elegant ruching to create a flattering silhouette, with statement bows layered on the shoulder and the hip. A thigh high side split and ever-reliable ‘barely there’ heels gave the ultra glam look a sultry feel.

Florence Pugh

Flo Pugh had no intentions of slowing down the wow-factor with her looks throughout the night. She switched it up from Awards ceremony hot pants to a tiny bralet and trousers set, layered with a dramatic duvet-esque coat. Suitable attire for March we’d say. Her Valentino era is in full swing and we’re obsessed.

Gigi Hadid

After Cara Delevigne changed out of her awards ceremony gown from Elie Saab, Gigi Hadid stepped in as the blonde bombshell in fire engine red, wearing a jaw-dropping custom Zac Posen bodycon dress. The off the shoulder neckline oozed sophistication, whilst her side parting/wavy hair gave modern Hollywood Glamour.

Hailey Bieber

Time and time again Hailey has proved the power of a black dress. She wore a figure sculpting black dress from her favourite brand Saint Laurent. The built in glove gave a contemporary-chic feel. The other arm – left open with elegant satin draping and an oversized bow on the shoulder oozed sophistication. Her signature brunette bob was elegantly waved and her face glam was as dewy and opulent as ever.

Lily James

The Pam & Tommy star stunned in a powder pink custom Versace dress with a figure hugging silhouette and a subtle trumpet hem which allowed the major feather neckline to do the talking. The strapless gown was adorned with elegant feathers all the way around to add drama. She eschewed earrings, but her OTT neck bijouterie made up for it. Her Cartier necklace boasted tiers of diamonds that cascaded towards the centre of her chest.

Emily Ratajkowski

EmRata might be the unofficial queen of the sheer dress trend. She switched out her signature black see-through style and went for an opulent high neck white gown from Feben. Neutral coloured pants was the accessory on show to pair with her dazzling diamond cuff earrings.

Kendall Jenner

Where do we begin? Perhaps by noting that KJ wore the exact same dress that Marion Cotillard did when she won her Best Actress Oscar for her portrayal of Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose. Marion wore the custom 2008 dress by Jean Paul Gaultier in a shimmer ivory colour, whereas Kendall slayed in a stunning bronze hue. She let the crafted fish gill beaded dress do the talking by eschewing jewellery, wearing her hair back and pairing with simple black pumps.

Jodie Turner-Smith

Jodie Turner Smith’s red carpet beauty agenda is a force to be reckoned with. This time she was a goddess in Gucci, wearing a velvet and lace harlequin print dress with dazzling silver embellishments. The red velvet panel across her chest was matched with her glittery siren red lipstick, and we are in awe.

Kaia Gerber

Kaia Gerber stunned in Celine, wearing a slinky silver embroidered couture dress with a daring thigh high split (a style that seemed to be the unofficial dress code for the evening), and a sophisticated halter neck. She paired the look with a black Triomphe bag and black embellished strappy sandals. Her boyfriend and Elvis star Austin Butler was equally chic in Saint Laurent FW23 for the afterparty.
