Fashion month is over already. Over February and March, Milan, New York, London and Paris (aka the big four) showcased their AW23 shows with Paris closing the month on March 8.
Already got the post-fashion month blues? perhaps not if you worked during what is always guaranteed to be a hectic four weeks. But if you do: fear not, because Tokyo Fashion Week kicked off this week meaning more street style to elevate our spring/summer wardrobes. Hooray.

Tokyo Fashion Week – officially called ‘Rakuten Fashion Week’ thanks to its main sponsor– is the biggest event in the Japanese sartorial calendar, and is always filled to the brim with guests sporting the coolest, most eclectic looks to inspire your everyday wear.

Subtle sheer-chic
A guest wore a black long sleeved top with sheer arms tucked into a black maxi skirt with a coat tied around the waist and a boxy clutch bag.
The elevated shirt dress
A guest wore a mini oversized skirt as a dress with knee high black boots.

Fun layering
A guest wore a blue striped shirt with a long turquoise tie, a navy skort and embellished beige leggings.
Hikari Mori
Actress Hikari Mori is seen on the street in a yellow maxi skirt and nude bodysuit with a Valentino clutch.
Double denim
A guest wore a denim jacket with a black polo neck underneath, belted denim half jeans/leg warmers and a red crossbody bag.

Feminine creams
A guest wore a lace cream blazer, a white crop with a long tulle layer, cream cuffed trosuers and black Dr Martens.
Blue and yellow is never mellow
One guest wore a blue milirary jacket and yellow trousers, whilst the other wore a yellow blazer with blue relaxed-fit trousers. Both opted for metallic accessories.
The dressed down power suit
A guest wore a black double breasted blazer open and layered with a polo neck, black straight leg trousers and Dr Martens, paired with a metallic champagne quilted bag.
All frills
A guest wore a royal blue mini dress with long fluted sleeves and a black frilled neckpiece.
Textures galore
A guest wore a tailored beige trench coat layered underneath a fur gilet, wide leg leather trousers and a pvc oversized bag.
