Zoë Kravitz and the little black dress are a match made in style heaven – and we can't get enough. The Big Little Lies star oozed understated glamour on Wednesday evening at Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Omega's Aqua Terra Shades launch event.
The bash, held at London's Somerset House, welcomed the High Fidelity actress alongside other major celebrity names – model Charli Howard, presenter Vick Hope and comedian Munya Chawawa to name but a few of Zoë's fellow attendees.
The 34-year-old epitomised low-key chic in a black column style maxi dress. The piece felt simple and classic, and yet provided a sense of drama via unusual cut-outs.
Zoë bared a glimpse of skin on her upper arms through the dress' slouchy jacket-style sleeves and kept things centrally demure with a high rounded neckline. It was the most high fashion version of the perennial 'cold shoulder' top we’ve ever seen, and frankly we're not mad about it.
While Zoë opted for an unusual cut-out, she kept things classic with gold spherical earrings from Tiffany & Co.'s HardWear collection, a weighty jade green ring and a five-band twist ring, also by the heritage jewellery brand.
She topped things off with sleek low-heel courts and wore her hair loose, swept over her shoulders in a middle parting. Plus she also wore evening's must-have accessory: an Omega wristwatch. (Of course.)
The event was held to celebrate a new subcollection of Omega's Aqua Terra line. Five dial colours – azure, green, champagne, orange and red – are available in two sizes, 34mm and 38mm.
Looking characteristically elegant, Zoë posed alongside her Fantastic Beasts co-star Eddie Redmayne. The pair got close as they posed for pictures, and Eddie looked smart in a silky shirt, black suit and bow-style necktie.
Was she giving him the cold shoulder? Only sartorially speaking.
