Modern beauty mogul Selena Gomez has left us utterly transfixed by her latest hairstyle – and we can't wait to take it for a spin this season.
Suffice to say, Instagram's most-followed woman gets a fair bit of attention when she steps out on the scene, regardless of what look she's channelling. Essentially, Selena could rock a bin bag and we'd still be intrigued to see how she'd styled it, but the current object of our lust, her XXL plait, is anything but trash, in fact, the style felt utterly luxe.

With its aesthetically pleasing packaging and consumer-friendly egalitarian-focused ethos, Rare Beauty aims to provide customers with the tools to "feel less alone in the world".
You know what never fails to give us a major mood boost? A killer outfit, no less. Clearly, this is Selena's area of expertise. The former Disney star was giving rich girl vibes and delivered a masterclass in all-black decadence.

But the part of her ensemble that stood out head and shoulders above the rest was her sleek, super-long plait. Her hair was slicked back (no flyaways in sight, we hasten to add) into an XXL waist-length braid.
Selena's seriously extra hairstyle comes just days after she left us speechless at her wedding dress street style moment.
The actress exuded high glam bridal energy in a white strapless gown, but die-hard Selena fans, fear not. No, you didn't miss a spur of the moment decision to get wed, rather her stunning bridal display was actually part of the filming for the Disney+ TV series Only Murders in the Building, in which she stars alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short.
