With winter firmly upon us, it's not just our knitwear we're updating. Sometimes its the finishing touches that makes all the difference, so we're looking to the runways for jewellery inspo.

An overhaul feels long overdue, and this season we are totally spoilt for choice when it comes to chunkier, more heavy-duty pieces.

With chunky knits jewellery can sometimes get lost, so this season we're focusing on the bigger the better mantra. Think oversized chains, bold  earrings and bulky rings. Especially when it comes to plainer outfits, a statement piece of jewellery can instantly uplift any look and elevate it.

AW24 Jewellery Trends

Recent runways dictate that chunky styles still deserve a place on your accessory radar for AW24. Gilded gold, silver and wooden stacking bangles stood out at Isabel Marant, whilst Chanel favoured the oversized textured cuff, a firm favourite that we've seen sneaking its way back into our jewellery boxes.

Similarly, at Chloé, whilst the jewellery was as boho as the collection, it was still in the statement remit. Oversized coin necklaces adorned models necks and complimented the overall finish of the look.

In keeping with the rest of their collection, Balmain opted for a fruity feeling. Rose gold apples and pears were seeing snaking down the torso of models, whilst they carried a bunch of grapes (or handbag, as Balmain prefer.)

How we chose:

  • Style and chunkiness: We've scoured the internet's top fashion sites for the chicest pieces of chunky jewellery. They have a thick, weighty appearance, often statement and standout. All our picks either feel bang on trend for AW24 or have a certain seasonless, classic appeal.
  • Price: Whether you're planning on splashing out or bagging a bargain, we've got a piece of chunky jewellery in your price range. We've selected this season's best, ranging from affordable-luxe brands to high-end jewellery labels if you're looking to invest.
