Bridgerton star and sartorial muse Simone Ashley channeled her inner Kate Sharma last night and stunned in a gown fit for a modern princess at Dior’s pre-fall 2023 show in Mumbai.
The 28-year-old actress knows a thing or two about red carpet opulence, and eschewed her usual edgy fashion show agenda to make the case for front row glam.

For Maria Grazia Chiuri’s show that paid homage to Indian craftsmanship, Ashley opted for major elegance. She wore a Grecian-style floor length gown in ethereal ivory that boasted a plunge neckline and low back. The silhouette combined sophistication with a touch of Ashley’s signature daring style. A striking choker with dangling pearls perfectly paired with her dainty studded earrings. (Does anything say ‘royalty’ like pearls?)
It wouldn't be a Simone Ashley look without a killer accessory of course. She paired her white gown with a beaded statement handbag from Dior, eye-catching clutches were everywhere during fashion month. The intricately embellished bag boasted the brand’s signature floral motif in stunning cool-toned pastel colours that are perfect for spring. The trapezoid shape oozed 90s It-girl evening glam.
The Surrey-born star isn’t afraid to experiment with her enviably glossy tresses. From her wet look curls at the Fashion Awards 2022, to her voluminous slicked bun at the 2023 Vanity Fair awards, her hairstyles are as experimental as her sartorial agenda.

This time she opted for a sleek middle parting look that gathered in to a low ponytail that boasted wavy Botticelli-esque locks down to her hips. We suspect her tresses are the result of some carefully placed extensions, however if they aren't then we need to know the secret to its growth and we need it immediately.
Ashley made appearances throughout February at several London Fashion Week events, but her style agenda was radically different to her Dior look. She went full glam in the most perfect party top we’ve ever seen at a Fashion And Film event at Annabel's, whilst she made a case for checks in a sixties inspired grey mini dress at 16Arlington’s AW23 show.
From party girl personified to plunging necklines and princess-worthy gowns. Her sartorial versatility is truly unmatched.
