Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham celebrated their one year wedding anniversary this weekend with the Peltz family and David and Victoria Beckham.
Whenever Nicola and Victoria meet, we expect it to be nothing less than a sartorial masterclass. And their stateside reunion was exactly that, with the two showing their style opposites for the occasion. Nicola oozed her signature Y2K aesthetic in the tiniest pair of micro shorts that gave Kate Moss' signature noughties denim hot pants a spring makeover.

Moss is undeniably the original micro shorts influencer, with perhaps no image more iconic than the model at Glastonbury in 2005 wearing checked short-shorts with a black waistcoat (another 2023 throwback trend that originated with the British style muse) and black Hunter wellington boots. From preppy pleated shorts suits to layering them with tights, she is the undisputed OG of the trend that succeeds in making any pair of legs look endless.
Nicola modernised the trend in a black cropped t-shirt with a tiny pair of lime green and pink floral supermodel-approved hot pants. She paired them with black knee high boots, a style Moss also championed back in 2015.
Victoria posted an image of their celebrations with the caption: “So special to be together to celebrate your 1st wedding anniversary we love you @brooklynpeltzbeckham @nicolaannepeltzbeckham @davidbeckham," to which Nicola quickly replied "Today was so fun! We love you so much".

VB and Nicola are both fashion muses in their own right, and Peltz channels her mother in law’s retro looks occasionally (take her VB inspired suit and matching handbag for example), although it's clear at the moment their innate sartorial agendas are total opposites. Victoria donned her usual off-duty chic wearing a grey t-shirt tucked into slim leg ripped jeans and royal blue stilettos - the ultimate colour to wear this Easter according to the Princess of Wales.
