Victoria Beckham is known for her ultra-luxe style agenda, and when it comes to her activewear it's no different.
Last week the designer, who will celebrate her 24th wedding anniversary with David in July, attended a salsa lesson with her husband and daughter Harper sporting a pair of skintight wet-look leggings.

Of course she teamed them with a pair of sky high stilettos and minimalist plain black t-shirt. David also opted for an all-black look, and the vibe was definitely Strictly Come Dancing but make it fashion.
It turns out her ‘dance mom-chic’ kit was courtesy of cult-favourite sustainable athleisure brand The Upside. “My vision for The Upside came to me when I was spending time between NYC, Hawaii and Sydney. While deepening my yoga practice I was witnessing the powerful infancy of the athleisure movement, that was taking over studios in a global sweep. Women of every age were under the spell of these magical pieces,” explains founder Jodhi Meares, “As an avid lover of lifestyle brands I was fascinated by this unprecedented and genius new category. So what was the one ingredient athleisure’s first-movers were missing? Cool. The original offering was limited, bland and lacked fashion appeal - and it had no colour or soul and there was my ‘in.’”

The brand takes many of its influences from Hawaii where the designer keeps a residence on Oahu’s North Shore. “My time in Hawaii made me feel like I was actually growing younger with all organic food, Aloha vibes and lots and lots of yoga. That joyful gift that Hawaii gave blessed me with the time and space to start putting pencil to paper. I created our first collection there and layered in some joy,” says Meares, “Hawaii is the joyful, light-hearted piece of The Upside mosaic. Hawaii taught me that exercise should be fun and never be taken too seriously.”
VB’s leggings are the brand’s Peached High Rise 28in Pant. The ultra-flattering pair feature a V shaped high-rise waistband and the label’s signature printed arrow logo at the back. The brand’s packaging is largely recycled or biodegradable, and the leggings are of course eco-conscious made from 75% recycled polyamide and 25% elastane for a plush brushed matte finish.
