Jennifer Lawrence has mastered the off-duty cool agenda this spring. Forever a style icon on the red carpet, the Don't Look Up actress has officially proved her worth as a street-style muse too, and she’s donned the same It-girl trainers in three different colourways in the last two weeks.
JLaw stepped out in NYC on April 11 and nailed a relaxed spring layering agenda. She wore a checked grey ‘shacket’ layered with a t-shirt and paired with light blue mom jeans (an apt style for the new mum to one year old 'Cy'). She paired look with a pair of supermodel, influencer and It-girl approved Adidas Sambas.
The list of fashionista’s currently donning the versatile trainer is endless. Take JLaw, Hailey Bieber, Kaia Gerber and Kendall Jenner as sufficient proof that this is still the sneaker you need to have on your spring-shoe wishlist.

Though the Hunger Games actress wore the neutral Chalky Brown Gum colourway yesterday, she made the case for statement sneakers last week to amp up her elevated daytime ensemble. She wore a black polo neck french tucked into wide leg jeans with a black and gold belt, finished off with a pair of bright green Sambas.
She's also recently worn a grey pair to create every minimalist's dream spring outfit: a cream belted duster jacket layered with a white vest and an open white shirt, paired with light wash denim jeans.

Not only are the Samba’s approved by every cool-girl on the planet, the style is super comfortable, at a reasonable price point and goes with absolutely any outfit, as proven by the fashion set.
Kendall Jenner made the case for spring-appropriate linen maxi skirts and Sambas, whilst Bella Hadid stuck to her Y2K agenda with straight leg denim turn ups and a cropped t-shirt, and Kate Moss has been championing the return of the style since 2015 (setting trends, as always), channelling her noughties grunge era with a graphic tee and black skinny jeans.
The Samba was originally created for football players. But like lots of sports attire like basketball vests and preppy rugby shirts, the fashion set have taken the shoe and ran with it, turning it into one of the most coveted street-style sneakers of the moment.
