Long before she became The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle was something of a style and beauty icon.
Aside from being an actress her blog The Tig was chock full of inspiring makeup tips and outfit inspiration, before she shut it down back in April 2017, bidding adieu to her loyal following.

Thankfully she is back at it, and delighted fans with a surprise Ted Talk appearance. The California-dwelling Duchess filmed a short introduction for her close friend Misan Harriman’s ‘Talk’.
The photographer is a long-time friend of Meghan's, and has captured some of the Duke and Duchess most personal moments. From the announcement of Meghan's second pregnancy, to the first official solo portrait of their daughter Lilibet, photographed by Misan during the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

In the video, in which Meghan spoke about their friendship, they royal donned the makeup trend which is fast becoming spring 2023’s signature look; Pastel pink everything. As seen on Gigi Hadid during her recent Disneyland trip, it seems as though rosy pink makeup is everywhere at the moment. The 41-year-old royal appeared on screen showcasing a sleek super-straight hairstyle, which modernised her otherwise ‘prim’ aesthetic. Barbiecore has clearly graduated from our wardrobes and into our makeup bags, and we are here for it.
During the video Meghan tells the audience, "Our next speaker has an unmatched eye for a good photograph. I've experienced his talent first hand as he has captured many meaningful milestones for me and my family. And I know there are many others who share this experience. His lens has photographed everything from events that have changed the world, invisible moments we all desperately needed to see along with some of the planet's most recognisable faces.”
