The current quiet luxury trend was epitomises Markle's style in a nutshell. Always slightly relaxed, but always elevated and with almost never a brand logo in sight. Her major look last night was no different, as she wore a linen pastel pink two piece from LA-based cool-girl brand Staud. She tucked a white cami into the belted, oversized tailored shorts and paired with the matching blazer. Some nude court heels (the ultimate leg-lengthening footwear) and a dainty Prada clutch bag finished off the polished look - the perfect elevated balance between smart and casual.

Pastel colours are always a favourite for spring, but it seems the most stylish royals on the planet are styling them the same way, now including Meghan. From dresses and matching handbags to camis and matching blazers, wearing a double dosage of pastels is the go-to.

Other than always looking effortlessly chic, the best thing about the minimalist nature of Meghan’s style means it can be dressed up or down, whatever the occasion.
To make it more casual, pair with a plain white t-shirt or a graphic tee underneath and some trainers (these are the to have on your It-girl approved styles to have on your spring agenda). Or, to amp up the femininity, why not wear a blouse with a high neck blouse and with a pretty collar and wear with flats. These Kate Middleton-approved ones are the perfect option.
