Just in time for the holiday party season ahead, H&M has teamed up with fashion heavyweight Rabanne to create a collection that’s sparklier than ever.
Inspired by a 1970’s pool party (iconic I know) the limited collection will feature a range of both men's and womenswear, as well as a selection of homeware, because who wouldn't want their outfit to match their cutlery? Think metallic dripped dresses in silver and purple, sequin turtlenecks, chandelier earrings that actually look like chandeliers, cheetah print layers, bright green tracksuits, brocade jackets fit for royalty and last but by no means least, silver and gold metallic cowboy boots.
I have been a fan of Rabanne and their disco ball-esque creations for a while now, so you can imagine my excitement when they announced the collaboration news at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year. Now that the countdown to launch day is almost in reaching distance (FYI: it’s on November 9), I couldn't help but peruse the lookbook and mentally add a few things to my wishlist.

Need I even explain why this is at the top of my wishlist? This honestly looks like the real deal and is a statement piece that will get the room talking for sure. I can imagine this grunge up with some combat boots, a black biker jacket, a dark smokey eye and a slicked back bun.

I’ve wanted a pair of straight-legged track pants ever since I saw the Gucci x Adidas collab, but alas, out of my price range. However, I almost like these more… There’s something about the vibrancy of the green tone that’s whispering to me.

Cousin to the dress above, this glorious gold number has me dreaming of a lavish night out, surrounded by champagne fountains and tiny salmon toast. My justification for this skirt is that It’s so versatile. Imagine wearing it with a scruffy oversized band tee or a hoodie... *chef's kiss.*

I want it all. No. I NEED it all. Everything about this outfit is perfect. The hardest question is where to wear it. A New Year's Eve soiree? To gals night at a karaoke bar? A brunch with Nana? How about all of the above?
