The Hygge trend is still going strong for winter, and you can now incorporate it into your home for as little as £6.99 thanks to a new Scandi-inspired homeware line at Aldi. The budget supermarket's new Special Buys include a number of limited edition cushions and throws that will transform your home for Christmas, along with some seriously stylish lamps that could easily be mistaken for pieces twice the price.

Highlights of the range include the Nordic soft furnishings, including knitted cushions featuring Fair Isle and reindeer motifs – a steal at £6.99 – and matching throws for your sofa or bed, which cost £19.99 each.

But the standout pieces have to be the vintage-style table and floor lamps, which proved a huge hit when they originally launched in December 2016. The stylish designs feature a black or copper effect stand on a solid marble-effect base, with an LED filament bulb to add to the vintage-feel of the lamp. The table lamp costs £19.99 while the floor lamp is an equally affordable £39.99. We think these could sell out fast, so get yours while you can! Other pieces available include Christmas tea towels, scented candles and DVDs, which are on sale in stores and online now for a limited time only.

STORY: Morrisons launches Scandi style homeware

Aldi has become a top destination for homeware, and recently introduced a hugely popular range of copper saucepans, which were almost identical to John Lewis' Croft Collection, at a fraction of the price. The range, which included a saucepan, frying pan and stockpot, cost from £19.99-£35.99, whereas John Lewis' range sells for £24 to £130.

Other supermarkets have also increased their homeware offering, such as Morrisons, who launched a 1,500 product line of home and kitchenware from as little as £2. In addition high street stores including Monsoon and New Look also have their own homeware ranges of trend-inspired pieces.
