Victoria Beckham was just like any mum as she visited son Brooklyn at university over the weekend – and appeared to despair at his interior design choices. The fashion designer shared a photo from what appeared to be Brooklyn's student accommodation, asking: "Why would you hang your bike on the wall @brooklynbeckham?"
Indeed, Brooklyn has decided to save on storage space and turn his bike into a design feature by mounting it onto the wall via a dark wooden shelf. The bright blue bicycle is hanging over a cream sofa, so anyone wanting to sit down or relax will have to do so with the risk of being hit if it falls.

Brooklyn, who celebrated his 19th birthday on Sunday, is currently living in New York while he studies photography at the prestigious Parsons School of Design. He was visited by his parents Victoria and David Beckham on his special day at the weekend, and Victoria later took to Instagram to pay tribute to her son. Sharing a photo of Brooklyn with a personalised birthday dessert, Victoria wrote: "We love u so much. Happy birthday @brooklynbeckham xx so many kisses from NYC!"

It's not surprising Victoria isn't a big fan of son Brooklyn's student accommodation; the Spice Girls star lives in a pristine home in the star-studded area of Holland Park, London, which has been decorated with lots of stylish touches and design details. The Beckhams are also renovating a barn conversion in the Cotswolds, with plans submitted to the local council showing that they hope to transform the garden into an incredible two-tier outdoor space complete with a natural swimming pond.
