If watching the new series of Great British Bake Off has inspired you to get baking and brush up your skills for next year, you'll want to pay a visit to Lidl, pronto. The budget supermarket has launched a new range of Bake Off-inspired kitchenware – and it's all under £20.

You'll be able to perfect your signature bake with a range that includes a Silvercrest blender, hand blender, mini chopper and kitchen scales. Better still, it's all available in 'Bake Off blue' so you can pretend you're in the tent under the watchful eye of Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.

The Lidl hand blender costs £7.99

The highlight of the range has to be the Silvercrest blender, which is a steal at £19.99. This device has 1.8 litre capacity and five speed settings, with a pulse function and hardened stainless steel blade for crushing ice, so you can whip up the perfect brownie batter or cake mix in no time.

Additionally, a hand blender (£7.99), features a powerful turbo boost function and is specially designed to reduce splashing – saving on mess, as well as time, during your baking session. Meanwhile, the Silvercrest mini chopper (£12.99), is ideal for chopping nuts and herbs. Or you can use the beater attachment to whip cream and add the finishing touches to your showstopper. There is also a set of kitchen scales for £5.99, which switch between grams, ounces, pounds, millilitres and fluid ounces, so you can handle any recipe with ease. The range is available in stores now for a limited time only, so you'll have to get in quick!

Great British Bake Off returned to screens on Tuesday

Great British Bake Off returned to Channel 4 on Tuesday, with an unexpected theme – biscuits! The show is also set to tackle vegan baking this year, meaning that the contestants will have to find substitute ingredients for commonly used baking ingredients such as milk, butter, eggs and cream.

Speaking about the introduction of the new theme during a Q&A, Paul Hollywood said: "We wanted something different and something to represent what was happening in this country. Veganism is something that seems to be growing. That's why it is in."
