Angela Scanlon's BBC seriesYour Home Made Perfect has captivated viewers since it first aired in spring 2019, with the unique virtual reality aspect helping it to stand out from other home renovation shows and bring the designs to life. As the show returns to screens for the second series, we're getting to know one of the architects responsible for bringing their clients' dream makeovers to life – Robert Jamison.

Who is Robert Jamison?

Robert Jamison is the Your Home Made Perfect architect known for his innovative designs, with bench seating and adaptable multi-function rooms among his signature styles. Who says you can't have a bath in your living room or need to follow a traditional layout? This Irish architect's designs are a favourite of clients wanting a dramatic overhaul to their homes and certainly think outside the box.

Robert Jamison is one of the architects on Your Home Made Perfect

His style is influenced by his extensive backpacking travels in India, after he left London during the recession in 2009, and he describes his work as a "spiritual endeavour".

Robert Jamison's career:

Robert launched his own business, Robert Jamison Architects, in 2005, but left to travel the world in 2009. Since his return to London, the dad-of-two has continued to build his practice with a fresh approach to architecture and design inspired by what he saw on his travels.

Robert once appeared as a Wildling in Game of Thrones

The architect says his ambition is to demonstrate the "healing benefits of architecture", by combining spiritual practices with design, to create authentic and creative homes that have a positive energy for their owners. Your Home Made Perfect isn't Robert's television debut; he previously revealed that he played a Wildling in Game of Thrones and shared a still from the show on Instagram.

 Your Home Made Perfect continues on Tuesday at 8pm on BBC2.
