There's a large brown painting hanging in a metallic gold frame on the wall above the bed, and the bed is dressed with plain white linen.

Another image shared inside the room showed that the rest of the walls in the room are white. She has a matching white wardrobe with mirrored doors and crystal handles, and a mahogany oak chest of drawers. The reflection in Kate's wardrobe reveals that there is another set of drawers in white, on top of which she keeps smaller cosmetic drawers. Apparently Kate doesn't always manage to keep on top of her household chores either, as fans joked about the mess seen in the picture.

Kate has also shown off the hallway in her home. It has wooden parquet flooring and white walls. There are white wooden stairs with a cream and brown striped runner on top, and Kate dressed the bannister with green holly and a selection of ornaments at Christmas time.

The house seems to be formed of three storeys, as another image showing the staircase revealed that from one landing, the stairs wrap around to another set.

Outside, Kate, Derek and their children have put their own touch on the garden. Kate said, "We bought this house because of the garden. I love gardening and Derek likes being in the garden and giving instructions. When we first moved in, it was covered in brambles, but there were also these yellow irises he adores." Kate and the children have since added a strawberry plant next to Derek's favourite chair.
