Jamie Oliver has given fans a peek inside his gorgeous kitchen as he shared an important message on Instagram. The celebrity chef filmed a video to discuss the new government initiatives to tackle obesity in the UK, which inadvertently showed the rustic country-style décor in the kitchen of his £6million Essex home.

The dad-of-four's kitchen is painted white and features wooden panelling on the walls and oak parquet flooring. Jamie stood next to a counter with his free-standing sink unit visible behind him, featuring gold taps, a ceramic basin and a wooden drawer underneath.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the room, Jamie has a retro cream SMEG fridge-freezer that works perfectly with the cool country aesthetic of the kitchen.

Jamie and his wife Jools moved into their £6million country mansion, Spains Hall, in summer 2019, and have given several glimpses inside the property on social media. The chef even filmed his Channel 4 show, Keep Cooking and Carry On, from his home during the coronavirus lockdown.
However, due to sound issues in his kitchen, he instead chose to film inside the larder that leads off the back of the room, and pushed sofas up against the walls for extra soundproofing.
The TV show became a project that all of the family were involved in; Jamie enlisted Jools and his daughters to help out with filming, while his son Buddy has been sharing his own recipes on a series they have called 'Cooking Buddies' on Jamie's Instagram channel.
