Tamzin Outhwaite has revealed how she has transformed her entire home by making one simple change – upgrading her radiators. The former EastEnders actress said that swapping her old storage heaters for modern metallic wall radiators has "transformed the place", as she showcased the finished result in a series of posts on her Instagram Stories.

"Eventually switched my ugly storage rads for these… could not be happier," Tamzin captioned one photo showing a new radiator in one room of her house, which has exposed brick walls and stone flooring.

A second photo revealed a corner of the mum-of-two's bedroom, which is painted dark blue and is home to her wooden dressing table, with two mirrors on top, and a patterned cushioned chair alongside her new metallic radiator.
"Dreamy radiators… it's transformed the place. No more storage heaters," Tamzin explained. Meanwhile, a third photo showed another radiator in a different room, which has pale grey walls and wooden flooring, with a beautiful patterned chair topped with a pale blue cushion to one side.

Tamzin has a flair for interior design and often reveals photos inside the home she shares with her partner Tom and her daughters Florence and Marnie.

Not only has she filled the property with amazing vintage gems, but the 49-year-old has also carried out some clever upcycling projects, including converting an old cabinet into a beautiful bathroom sink unit, complete with a marble top and gold taps.

Meanwhile, during the coronavirus lockdown Tamzin showcased another enviable addition to her home – a neon Bag and Bones sign reading 'Let's Stay Home' – the same as the one that Tom and Giovanna Fletcher have on display in their kitchen. "Hope you're all doing ok and staying safe and staying home," Tamzin captioned the post.
