Gemma Atkinson shared some exciting news with her fans on Wednesday, revealing that she and boyfriend Gorka Marquez have finally been able to move into their new house with their daughter Mia.
The couple bought their "dream home" earlier this year, but their move was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, with Gemma previously telling HELLO! that they had been "living out of cardboard boxes" during the lockdown.

However, they have now been able to move into their new build property, and thankfully their one-year-old daughter is already feeling settled there too.

Taking to her Instagram Stories to share an update with her followers, Gemma explained: "We finally did it though! New house, new neighbours to meet, new local shops to explore and new memories to make. Mia seems to be settling nicely too which was a concern, but all good!"
The house move has come at a busy time for the couple, as Gorka has been away from home and quarantining in a hotel with the other Strictly Come Dancing pros, as they prepare for the upcoming series of the BBC show.

However, the dancer was finally able to reunite with Gemma and Mia on Wednesday, and posted a series of clips as he shared his joy at spending time with his daughter once again.

Thankfully, the couple have been prepared for their big house move for months. Not only had they started packing before the coronavirus lockdown was announced, but they took the opportunity to sort even more stuff out as they had more time at home together than ever before.
Packing did appear to be a source of some contention between the couple though, with Gemma revealing that Gorka didn't think they should keep a chair she loved, as they had bought entirely new furniture for their new property.
Gesturing to a comfortable cream armchair sitting in the corner of her Manchester home, the former Hollyoaks actress told her Instagram followers: "Gorka doesn't want this chair - everything is brand new in the new house. This is my home that Gorka moved into but the next home is our home together, so I get that."
We'll have to wait and see whether Gemma's beloved chair made it into their new home or not!
