On Tuesday's This Morning, Phillip Schofield revealed that he gets home décor inspiration for his West London home from peering into the homes of other people – and Twitter users then confessed that they do exactly the same.

Speaking to fellow presenter Rochelle Humes, Phillip said: "I probably shouldn't say this anyway but… this time of the year, when the nights are really dark, when everyone's got their curtains open and you can look into everyone's houses, you walk up the street and go 'That's nice wallpaper… ooh I like those curtains'."

While Rochelle nodded and laughed along with Phillip's confession, Phil Vickery was seen to be giggling and shaking his head in disapproval over at the cooking station.
This Morning shared the clip on Twitter and fans of the show were quick to agree with Phillip's technique, confessing that they too look into other people's homes – especially in winter when the lights are on.

One said: "Of course, rude not to," and another agreed: "If your curtains are open and your light is on... you're fair game."
Phillip isn't afraid to speak his mind on the ITV show
Through his social media feeds, Phillip has shown his fans various parts of his luxury six-bedroom home.
We have seen his cosy living room with atmospheric lighting, as well as his abundant garden.

He moved into his £2million Chiswick property in September 2020 after separating from his wife Steph. The leafy West London location is a hit with the A-list and is home to co-star Holly Willoughby and ITV pal Declan Donnelly.
