However, it turns out the family drama continues even now Giovanna is home, with Tom taking to Instagram Stories to reveal that their son and the cat wet their bed, meaning he had to sleep on a mattress on the floor!

Tom took the photograph in the middle of the night to reveal the mishap, writing: "Thanks to the cat AND kid peeing on our bed, tonight I'm on the spare mattress on the floor." He accompanied the caption with a sticker which reads: "Awesome…not."

In the picture, fans could see inside the couple's never-before-seen private bedroom where the bedding had been fully stripped and Tom was using a spare duvet with a spotty cover on a mattress on the floor.
