Poppy Gilbert shot to fame in Netflix's hit Stay Close and now she's captivated audiences once again in the BBC One series Chloe. When the actress isn't delighting viewers on screen, Poppy retreats to her private home which she shares with her dog Mickey. Take a peek inside her rarely seen house…

When Poppy introduced her Instagram followers to her dog Mickey back in 2020, it was the first look we had inside her stunning home. "Welcome, Mickey," she captioned the snap and she stood hugging him at the doorway of her abode.

The star has a traditional wooden and glass door with windows on either side, and matching lamps can be seen, decorating the porch area. The colour scheme appears to be quite muted with white and black accents.
Poppy also shared a video of her gorgeous dog, writing the caption: "Wholesome weekend content," and as well as the adorable pup, we were taken by her chic interiors.

The dog can be seen lying on a super soft cream rug and the room has light-coloured wooden flooring throughout. Behind Mickey was his dog crate filled with toys such as a plush football, as well as a water bowl. The clip also showed the legs of what could be a wooden chair, indicating that this has been shot in a dining space.
The star has made her home a haven for her dog

Poppy grew up in London, with her mother Camilla, her father Nigel and her sister Darcy. The star attended Guildhall School of Music and Drama and it is believed that the actress is still based in the city although this has not been confirmed.

BBC's Chloe is about one girl's obsession with a mysterious woman she comes across online. Poppy plays Chloe – the girl who has a huge online following and Call the Midwife's Erin Doherty plays Becky – the one who's obsessed with Chloe's life – even after she dies.
