Michelle gave fans a glimpse of her preferred way – and companion – to spend a calm Sunday, and fans couldn't agree more.
The star also revealed a look at her stunning home, as the light coming in from the luscious backyard illuminated her beautiful living room.

The soothing image featured Michelle sitting on her plush gray sofa, which matched the color of the cozy sweater she is wearing. Next to her, laying on a cashmere blanket is her adorable, fluffy cat, which immediately prompted people to comment on the star's iconic role of Catwoman.
As sunlight from the floor to ceiling windows infiltrated her spot on the couch, Michelle is seen adjusting her glasses as she reads something on her phone. She captioned the image with: "Sunday mood," along with a heart emoji.

Actor Leslie Jordan totally related to the post's sentiment, writing: "That kitty cat snoozing on it's blankie says it all!!" Michelle's relaxing Sunday is undoubtedly well-deserved, as she has spent the past few months filming and promoting her new series, The First Lady. She plays President Gerald Ford's wife, Betty Ford.

The Scarface actress has shared various sneak peeks of the series, where her resemblance to the First Lady is uncanny.
The Showtime series, which premieres 17 April, has an unbelievably star-studded cast, as it portrays the lives of several First Ladies over different years and presidencies. Aaron Eckhart plays Gerald Ford, with Dakota Fanning as his daughter, Susan; Viola Davis plays Michelle Obama, Gillian Anderson is Eleanor Roosevelt, and Kiefer Sutherland portrays Franklin D. Roosevelt.
