Her Majesty has over 1,000 timepieces throughout her regal homes and adjusting them will be no easy task – but luckily there's a team on hand. The switchover is a mammoth undertaking that takes around 40 hours to do, which means even after beginning the admin at 2am on Sunday morning, some of the clocks will still be at the wrong time on Monday.

Daylight saving time is the process of moving the clocks ahead an hour in the spring to make the most of the daylight in the evening and readjusting them in autumn. Nobody is ever late for Her Majesty
Speaking of royal clocks, the ones in the royal kitchen run slightly early to ensure the monarch is always served her meals on time!
As well as 1,000 clocks, Her Majesty has 1,000 staff across her royal residences to help her with general household running. There are chefs, cleaners and admin staff, and more unusual roles include the Queen's flag sergeant, a royal librarian and a groom for the Queen's horses.
