Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have resumed house hunting together in Los Angeles, just days after announcing their engagement.

The couple were spotted viewing the $165million 'Spelling Manor' – which was recently owned by Petra Ecclestone – after their deal for a $55million mansion in Bel-Air fell through.

The Holmby Hills mansion, now known as The Manor, was built over several years by Aaron Spelling and his wife Candy Spelling, and was completed in 1990. Petra bought the property for $85million in 2011, and she spent a reported $20million on renovation work before deciding to sell it for $119.75million in 2019 as the most expensive home ever sold in Los Angeles County.

The sprawling estate is bigger than the White House and would certainly have a lot to offer Jennifer and Ben and their children from previous marriages. It sits on a 4.6-acre estate and has 14 bedrooms, 27 bathrooms, a bowling alley, cinema, tennis court, hair salon and swimming pool with Jacuzzi.

Petra previously said that she missed the lavish residence after moving out prior to the coronavirus pandemic, admitting on Instagram that it would have been "the perfect place to be isolated".

If Jennifer and Ben decide to invest in the vast estate, it would cost triple what they were previously planning to spend on a $55million Bel-Air mansion in March. The 1.2-acre estate they had hoped to buy had ten bedrooms and 17 bathrooms spread across nearly 20,000 square feet of living space, but the sale fell through.

Both Jennifer and Ben have their own vast property portfolios, and it is not clear whether they intend to sell their individual properties once they move in together, or maintain their investments elsewhere.

Jennifer and Ben recently announced their engagement

Jennifer's homes are worth an estimated $97million alone, and include a $32.5million waterfront retreat in Miami's Star Island and a $1.4million Encino cottage that she bought with her former fiancé Alex Rodriguez.

The 52-year-old also owns homes in the Hamptons and New York, along with a family home in Bel-Air, which she bought in 2016 and shares with her twins Max and Emme.

Ben, meanwhile, has an estate on Georgia's Hampton Island Preserve which he bought back when he and Jennifer were first dating in 2003. The 49-year-old also has a $19million mansion in Pacific Palisades that he bought in 2018, and is located just a mile away from the former family home he shared with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner and their three children Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.
