Louise Minchin, 54, lives in Cheshire with her husband David and their two daughters Mia and Scarlett, and on the Easter weekend the former BBC Breakfast presenter shared an exciting update from her private home.
The mother-of-two eagerly took to her Instagram Stories to share a gardening success with her 134,000 followers.
Louise was incredibly proud to reveal she has grown her first ever radish, and you can hear the excitement in her voice…
It seemed Louise's love for growing vegetables began during the coronavirus pandemic, as she shared a photograph of a bed of lettuce, which she described as her "lock-down garden success".
Also during that time, Louise used her garden to exercise. "I never imagined I could run 6k round in circles in my garden. Thanks to @indoor_relay for asking me to take part, to @ab_runs for a lovely chat and to everyone donating to some excellent charities. Keep on running!" she shared as she posted a photo of her in workout gear outside.
The star originally relocated from London to Cheshire for her job as the BBC programme's studio moved to Salford.
Speaking to Cheshire Life, Louise said: "Cheshire could not be more different for us. We're surrounded by countryside and people are completely different. We have been welcomed with open arms by the locals. The first day I arrived, someone knocked on my door and invited me to the pub. That was absolutely brilliant, so welcoming and it already feels like we have a support network here. It has been wonderful."

Fellow former BBC presenter, Dan Walker also lives up north with his family, choosing to reside in Sheffield with his wife Sarah and their children. Dan's home was recently a sanctuary for him to relax and recover in when he suffered a horror bike crash, which resulted in him having painful-looking facial injuries.
