The Prince and Princess of Wales will be looking ahead to the summer holidays, just like ordinary parents, wondering how to keep their brood entertained over the six-week break.
One of the ways that the royal parents will be keeping their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis engaged is with a spot of healthy competition.
In 2020, The then-Duchess visited a hospice near Norwich to plant a tree and while she got her hands dirty she revealed that the family have an annual sunflower growing competition.
She said: “The children are really enjoying growing their sunflowers, Louis’s is winning so George is a little grumpy about that!”
We wonder who will be in the lead this year!
Kate is keen to instil her passion for gardening into her children, and it seems to have worked as the little ones have been pictured getting stuck in.
The green-fingered mother-of-three even collaborated with award-winning landscape architects Andrée Davis and Adam White to create their own garden for the Chelsea Flower Show one year.
The design featured a play den and a tree house, inspired by what her children enjoy in the garden, so we can only imagine their own private spaces are full of fun too!

Across the pond, Kate's sister-in-law Meghan Markle shares her love of gardening and the Sussexes even have their own vegetable patch at their $14million mansion.
When the family were living in Frogmore Cottage in Windor they also planted organic herbs, fruits and vegetables to live off the land.
Many of the royal family are green fingered including King Charles, who lives to be in the great outdoors and is a big champion of organic farming.
Highgrove Garden is one of the monarch's pride and joys, and he loves welcoming the public to enjoy it.
"One of my great joys is to see the pleasure that the garden can bring to many of the visitors and that everybody seems to find some part of it that is special to them," he said.
