Dawn French, 65, has purchased a brand-new home in Cornwall with her second husband Mark Bignell, and on Wednesday, the actress gave her fans a look inside.
Sharing an update to her 625,000 Instagram followers, the French & Saunders star allowed them to admire her incredibly beautiful writing room.
Alongside the snap, she wrote: "I made a beautiful room to write in, and now I can’t stop looking at the room and the view instead of writing… @annastandish.interiors."
The pink room features a dramatic chandelier style light, unique windows overlooking the greenery below as well as rustic exposed floorboards. Dawn's desk is positioned by the windows, ideal for her to soak in the scenery as she gets creative. To one side of the room is a pinboard with various photos and snippets and then adjacent is two framed artworks, and a corner of a floral chair or sofa can be seen in the foreground.
The post received over 36,000 likes, and plenty of love in the comments section. "Beautiful," added Alexandra Burke and "So, so pretty!!," wrote Tan France. "Your writing room is bigger than my entire house," joked one. We can't wait to see more looks inside the incredible home as time goes on!
The new five-bedroom house comes after Dawn sold her previous home in Fowey for a dazzling £6.6million, after buying it for £2.3million and thus securing a hefty £4.3million profit.
Dawn's previous coastal home was located in a very popular area of Cornwall and tourists became an issue for the star, who was looking for a quieter life.
