Roman Kemp's famous parents Martin and Shirlie Kemp have been ultra-busy renovating their current home, and on Thursday, the kitchen transformation left us speechless.
The before and after photos reveal what an epic makeover it has been, taking their cooking space from cramped and drab to fabulously beautiful.
The kitchen had sage green doors and beechwood flooring when the couple moved in, and now it is a calming space with muted tones, a large marble-clad island and luxurious fixtures and fittings.
In a post shared to the main feed of the couple's home Instagram account, The Masked Singer star explained about the cooking space's renovation. "Super excited to share our new @howdensjoinery cottage kitchen. The kitchen is the heart of the home and I love spending time in mine! The cottage was small so we open planned the area, so I needed a kitchen that would flow easily in the living area.
"This Chilcomb Pebble kitchen from @howdensjoinery has made a world of difference to this space. Before the kitchen was all in one corner of the cottage and felt totally cut off. Now it takes pride of place and invites you into the cottage. It feels so fresh and a wonderful space to cook and nourish everyone. I was so happy to work with @joshna_p_kitchendesigner as she understood what I wanted immediately. Some of our favourite features include a walk-in pantry, glass-fronted dresser and larder. #Howdens."

However, fans were left confused about the transformation, wondering if it was in the main property or in a separate outbuilding, as Shirlie referred to it as "the cottage". " Is the cottage separate to your main house?" quizzed one, and: "Is this another house/cottage to the main house? I remember seeing a new howdens kitchen but it was different to this. looks smart!"

It is indeed a different kitchen to the couple's main one which was one of the first rooms they tackled when they first moved into the property. This space, decorated in a similarly chic fashion is an all-white room with plenty of storage space and gold industrial lighting hanging over the island.
