Nicolas Cage recently opened the doors of his jaw-dropping Gothic-inspired Las Vegas mansion during a 60 Minutes interview with host Sharyn Alfonsi.
The 59-year-old Oscar-winning actor shares the unique residence with his wife, Riko Shibata, young daughter August and a collection of unconventional pets.
Described as "part Goth-cathedral and part avant-garde gallery," The Face/Off star’s home boasts a two-story, wood-paneled library with a mezzanine and a striking green chandelier.
The actor introduced his "black dragon" monitor lizard during the interview, likening the experience of having the pet to "having a real dinosaur in your house.

Nicolas also showed off his gold Lamborghini, inspired by a 1968 Federico Fellini film. He explained: "It was a crazy beautiful Fellini movie, and it inspired me."
The home tour revealed other eye-catching features, such as a sea turtle swimming in an aquarium, a pool table, and an old-school jukebox.
The living room houses a mesh, dome-shaped enclosure for the actor's pet crow, Hoogan, who displays an intelligent and cheeky sense of humor.

In addition to discussing his impressive home, the actor opened up about his personal life, including his mother's struggle with mental illness and his experience overcoming a $6million debt following the real estate market crash.
He credited his work as a lifesaver, saying, "Work was always my guardian angel. It may not have been blue chip, but it was still work."
The interview also touched upon Cage's passion for acting, with the star revealing his inspiration came from iconic roles like James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause.
His latest film, Renfield, features him as the title character, Dracula's long-suffering servant, who seeks a life beyond his master's shadow.
