Prince Harry, 39, Is settled in Montecito with his wife Meghan Markle and two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, after relocating to the US in 2020.
The Duke of Sussex has also revealed that he thinks his late mother Princess Diana may have been drawn stateside too, and that's where she could have ended up. Watch Prince Harry open up about his mum in the video below…
Speaking about living stateside in an interview for the Today Show, Harry has previously said: "Home for me now is, for the time being, it's in the States. And it really feels that way as well. We've been welcomed with open arms and we've got such a great community up in Santa Barbara."
They no longer have a UK base, having ended the lease on their Windsor home, Frogmore Cottage and so it does seem like Harry and Meghan will be living in the US for the foreseeable.
Plus, Meghan has previously expressed her concern about raising kids in the UK due to the lack of privacy. When Meghan was interviewed for The Cut, Allison P. Davis, wrote: "Earlier in our conversation about her goals for the life she’s creating here, she’d remarked upon how, if Archie were in school in the UK, she'd never be able to do school pickup and drop-off without it being a royal photo call with a press pen of 40 people snapping pictures."
Meghan then said: "Sorry, I have a problem with that. That doesn’t make me obsessed with privacy. That makes me a strong and good parent protecting my child."
Their sprawling property has amazing amenities including a spa, tennis court and outdoor swimming pool, and the couple appear to be very much in love with their family residence. "We did everything we could to get this house," Meghan said in her The Cut interview. "Because you walk in and go… Joy. And exhale. And calm. It's healing. You feel free."
The couple's Netflix docuseries also offered up unprecedented looks inside their megamansion, including many sweet family clips.
