Emmerdale's Matthew Wolfenden, 43, appeared on Loose Women on Wednesday and he made a major revelation about the living arrangements at his family home in Yorkshire with co-star wife Charley Webb.
Speaking to the LW panel about his busy work schedule (he has an upcoming part as Buddy in Elf the Musical) and Charley is also away from home, Matthew explained that his mum and dad have moved into their family home to help out with the kids. Watch the clip below…
Matthew joked he owed his parents a holiday for the favour, and while it seems as though it is a temporary measure, there are some celebrities who have moved their parents or in-laws into their family homes for good.
Frankie Bridge, for example, has a huge house in Surrey where she lives with her footballer husband Wayne Bridge and their children Parker and Carter – but their home set-up is a little unconventional as Frankie's in-laws also live with them.
What is Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden's family home like?
The couple live with their sons Buster, Bowie and Ace in Yorkshire, and their beautiful family home has been showcased on Instagram over the years.
We adore the neon light in their lounge that reads: "Beautiful Chaos", which was a gift to Matthew from Charley for his 40th birthday. It hangs above the couple's mustard yellow velvet sofa and casts a colourful glow across the living room.
Soap actress Charley revealed a look at the beautiful view from her bedroom, showing how it has floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony overlooking the garden.
The stars also have a large garden for their children to play in come summertime. It is surrounded by trees keeping it private and it features a black trampoline.
Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden's wedding
Charley and Matthew first started dating in 2007 and they went on to marry on 10 February 2018.
Their wedding day was a huge surprise for their guests, who thought they were attending a party to celebrate Charley’s 30th birthday - and even their sons had no idea about the plan!
"Buster and Bowie had absolutely no idea. The boys' faces caught on camera are priceless," Matthew has said.
Charley was pictured in a black sheer party dress, which she later switched up in favour of a stunning Suzanne Neville wedding dress with a long-sleeved lace bodice and figure-hugging crepe skirt with button-back detailing. Dreamy!
