After spending almost 20 years busy as host of her eponymous daytime talk show, Ellen DeGeneres has spent the last year laying low, and taking up other hobbies.

The comedian and veteran TV host 65 has yet to make any proper TV comeback, and has instead been focusing on expanding her real estate portfolio, namely in her neighborhood of Montecito.

The star and her wife of 15 years Portia de Rossi has made several purchases and sales of various homes across the elite Santa Barbara area, and the latest is seriously impressive.

After purchasing (and masterfully restoring) a historic Montecito estate named Pompeiian Court back in June, Ellen has already put it back on the market for a whopping $46.5 million.

The stunning property was originally built in 1919, and boasts 11,530 square feet, spans across eight acres of land, has views of both the Pacific Ocean and the beautiful California mountains, and consists of a 7,817-square-foot main house, not one but two guests houses, plus a pool house, art studio, and even a staff office.

Between all the separate structures, the estate has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and three half bathrooms.

As if that's not luxurious enough, the grounds also include a tennis court, private gardens, a courtyard at the heart of it all, and even its own chardonnay vineyard.

Ellen and her wife Portia recently renewed their vows in their own Montecito home

"What makes Ellen so unique is that she focuses on restoring historic and special properties rather than just tearing down and building new," he shared, adding: "She has an eye for one-of-a-kind properties and this is no exception!"

Looking at the listing's photos, it's hard to tell when you're entering through the quarter-mile, olive tree-lined driveway whether you're still in California or you've been transported to Tuscan estate.

"Step inside and instantly you know you’ve arrived somewhere special," the listing promises, adding: "The newly and exceptionally designed interiors combine effortlessly with elements of the original 1919 architecture thus finding new meaning in the proverb, everything old is new again."
