Catherine Zeta-Jones shared an adorable new video from inside her stunning $4.7 million home featuring her husband, Michael Douglas, that sparked a big reaction from her followers.
The 'Wednesday' actress gave fans a glimpse inside their sprawling property in Irvington, New York while showing off their pet pooch, Taylor, dressed in a turkey costume for Thanksgiving – but what was even sweeter was Michael's reaction to their dog. Check out the video below…
Captioning the heartfelt moment, Catherine penned: "Michael and I right now…a lot of dog, golf and honey. My dog has a pre-thanksgiving dress fitting before we settle in for baseball on tv."
Her followers loved the insight into their seemingly "normal" home life, with one responding to the clip: "It's refreshing to see how normal two superstars can be."
A second said: "Aww have fun. You guys are the cutest!" A third added: "What a wonderful married couple." A fourth wrote: "Love their stair carpet, and yes nice to see them in normal mode."
Catherine and Michael's eight-bedroom property features an indoor swimming pool, a fitness room, a wood-paneled library, and a games room.
It also boasts an outdoor summer house, an outdoor kitchen, as well as a spacious dining area with a chandelier light hanging overhead.
If that wasn't enough, the 12-acre estate also has an expansive garden surrounded by an abundance of large trees, never-ending lawns, and a maze-like patio.
The couple moved into the home after downsizing from their 15,000-square-foot mansion in Westchester County, which they reportedly sold for almost $20.5 million.
The family has an extensive property portfolio and owns luxury homes in Bermuda, Spain, and Canada, as well as a large family home in Catherine's hometown of Swansea, Wales.
In 2021, they listed their Central Park West apartment for a cool $21.5 million. The top-floor apartment was originally 15 rooms but was reconfigured into nine larger spaces. It offers high ceilings, mahogany pocket doors, twin wood-burning fireplaces, and spectacular views of Central Park.
Catherine and Michael will celebrate their 23rd wedding anniversary in November. The couple first met at the Deauville Film Festival in 1998, although the Welsh actress was not immediately won over by his charms.
"I met her in the bar and was a total gentleman," Michael told Jonathan Ross during an appearance on his show in 2016. The actor made his move later that night, cheekily telling the actress: "You know, I'm going to be the father of your children."
According to Michael, she replied: "I've heard a lot about you, and I've seen a lot about you, and I think it's time that I say goodnight."
Speaking to Access Hollywood in 2019, Catherine joked about their first meeting and Michael's confident comments: "You know what the worst thing is?... He was right."
The couple married in November 2000 during a lavish ceremony held at the New York Plaza Hotel. Three months before the ceremony, Catherine gave birth to their first child, son Dylan, now 23. Three years later, they welcomed their second child, daughter Carys, now 20.
