Early life
Maxton Gig Beesley Jr. was born on 16 April 1971 into a musical family. His father, Maxton Beesley Sr. was a drummer, his mother was a jazz singer who performed under the name Chris Marlowe. Max initially gravitated towards a musical career himself, working as a session player with artists such as Robbie Williams and George Michael. However, he went on to find success in TV and later in films, starting out with a couple of appearances on Last of the Summer Wine.
Onscreen success
In 1997 Max took her breakout role in The History of Tom Jones: A Foundling. From there, many more roles followed in films such as 2001's Hotel, and in TV including 2005's Bloodlines, 2006-9's Hotel Babylon, and 2023's Hijack to name only a few.
Personal life
Max is married to professional dancer Jennifer Noelle. They have two children.
