Jenni Falconer was born 12 February 1976 in Glasgow. The future This Morning contributor was introduced to the world of TV in 1994 when she appeared as a contestant on Blind Date. Her good looks, bubbly personality and easy manner in front of the camera were noted by BBC Scotland, which later invited the then university student to do some presenting.
Television career
It was in 2000 that she got her big break, when she was asked to host GMTV's new entertainment segment. Through this, she ended up interviewing some of Hollywood's biggest stars such as Tom Cruise and Will Smith in exotic locations. A self-confessed work-a-holic, Jenni has since fronted a wide range of programmes including The National Lottery Big Draw and the Sky One show Cirque De Celebrite.
A travel host for This Morning, Jenni also took the reigns of the show in 2011 when Holly Willoughby took maternity leave. As well as work on TV, Jenni has also hosted radio shows such as Heart's Sunday morning show and the station's weekday 4 O'Clock Club early morning shift.
Personal life
When she isn't travelling the world on assignment, Jenni shares her London home with her husband James Midgely and their daughter Ella. Though she's spent most of her adult life in the south of England, the presenter who is proud of her Scottish heritage, and still thinks of Glasgow as home.
