Jonah's weight has been up and down over the years for his various roles. His self esteem has suffered as a consequence of his body image. "I don’t think I ever took my shirt off in a pool until I was in my mid 30s even in front of family and friends," he told Ellen DeGeneres.

Jonah Hill's childhood

Jonah was born to costume designer mother Sharon Lyn and accountant to Guns N' Roses, Richard Fieldstein. His older brother is Jordan Feldstein, the manager of Maroon 5 and Robin Thicke, so it seems like Jonah was exposed to showbiz life from a young age. Dustin Hoffman actually helped his rise to fame inviting him in for an audition.

The star grew up in Cheviot Hills, LA, where he continues to live to this day.
