Megan Fox's early life

Megan Denise Fox was born on May 16, 1986 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee – the second daughter to Darlene Tonachio and Franklin Fox.

She found her passion for performance at a young age and began training in dance and drama at the age of five. When she was 13 years old, Megan tried her hand at modeling having won several awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Megan Fox's rise to fame and Hollywood career

Megan landed her first acting job in the 2001 Olsen twin movie Holiday in the Sun, playing Ashley Olsen's on-screen rival. After several minor roles, she secured a starring role in the US series Ocean Avenue and went on to appear in Hope & Faith and Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she made her big screen debut in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen opposite Lindsay Lohan, but it wasn't until 2007, when she was cast in Transformers that she came to widespread attention.

Two years later she starred in the horror comedy, Jennifer's Body, which despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, grew a cult following over time. Since then, she has appeared in an array of Hollywood movies, including This is 40, Zeroville, Big Gold Brick and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

She also appeared in the fifth and sixth seasons of the hit sitcom, New Girl

Megan Fox's personal life

In 2004, Megan began dating actor Brian Austin Green after meeting on the set of TV series Hope & Faith. The couple became engaged in 2006 and went on to tie the knot in June 2010 in a private ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort on Maui. The couple went on to welcome three sons, Noah (born in 2012), Bodhi (born in 2014) and Journey (born in 2016). 

While Megan filed for divorce in 2015, they reconciled the following year and went on to welcome their third child.

The couple eventually decided to go their separate ways and separated in 2020 following ten years of marriage before Megan filed for divorce, which was finalized in October 2021.

In June 2020, Megan went public with her relationship with singer Machine Gun Kelly. They announced their engagement the following January.
