Sporting a number one jersey, Harry looked every inch the young sportsman alongside his father Prince Charles at a charity polo match on Saturday. The two played together publicly for the first time, hoping to raise money for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Fund.
Though their team was narrowly defeated 5.5 to 5, onlookers cheered for the obviously talented Harry. On half-term break from cramming for exams at Eton, the 16-year-old prince was surely happy to be outside playing polo rather than studying in the library.
Now just on 6ft tall, Harry is following in his father's 'action man' footsteps and enjoys all kinds of sports, with polo a particular favourite. Gone are the days when he had to beg to be allowed to take part in his big brother's games - Harry has outstripped William in certain areas, and has a natural advantage in polo because the players attack on the right-hand side, and William is left-handed.
The four chukka charity match was held at Beaufort Polo Club near the Prince of Wales’s Highgrove home, and was one of six annual fundraising games held there.
