Charlotte Casiraghi made quite an impression at the 81st Annual Gran Prix d'Amérique equestrian event in Paris last weekend. The celebration found some of the greatest riders and fans of the sport convening in the city of light, but the beautiful daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco quickly became the star of the occasion.

At a party at the hotel Villa de Paris on the eve of the competition, Charlotte was accompanied by her best friend Valentine Pozzo di Borgo and fellow equestrian Thierry Rozier, the son of Olympic champion horseman Marcel Rozier. Wearing a stunning shoulder-baring gown, Charlotte showed once again that she has inherited the elegance of her mother and the glamour of her late grandmother Princess Grace.

And if the run-up to the competition were exciting, it could only have been surpassed by the event itself. Charlotte, accompanied by Thierry and Valentine, cheered the race on from the stands and watched as her favourite, Varenne, took the trophy.
