CHARLOTTE OF MONACO TURNS HEADS AT SHOW JUMPING EVENT

A relaxed-looking Princess Caroline of Monaco enjoyed a fun day out with her children on Monday, indulging one of the family’s favourite pastimes of show jumping at a tournament in France.

The princess turned out to see her 16-year-old daughter Charlotte Casiraghi taking part in the event. Also there were Charlotte’s younger brother Pierre and her best friend Valentine Pozzo di Borgo, as well as former French Olympic champion Marcel Rozier, whose son, Thierry, is Charlotte’s trainer.

The party waved to the cameras before Charlotte, who had turned up in a sleek black suit accessorized by a grey cashmere scarf, retired to change for her event. Her mother Caroline was her usual casually glamorous self in a white shirt and patterned scarf.

The family have always been keen equestrians but Charlotte is perhaps the cream of the crop when it comes to horses; she often takes part in sporting events across the continent and last week was spotted with her heart-throb elder brother Andrea at a horse sale near the family home in Fontainebleau. The event was organised by Marcel Rozier and, as usual, the young royals stole the focus from the horses.
